About the Method
The Protective Partnership presents a unique model:
An innovative one-day treatment program that MINIMIZES
the risk of wartime experiences leading to PTSD, REDUCES
the need for further therapeutic intervention, and
SHORTENS the time to recover from difficult experiences,
ALL by using the brain’s natural ability to heal itself
The method is based on two facts:

Our method integrates several effective trauma therapy techniques
Including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which has been endorsed by the WHO, the American Veteran's Administration,
the American Psychiatric Association and other international organizations
as a first-line treatment for psychological stress and trauma, and other emotional regulation and relaxation techniques.
Initiator and developer of the method, Dr. Ronny Simons
Senior clinical psychologist and Head of Clinical Psychology at the Protective Partnership, who has over thirty years
of experience in the treatment of trauma and post-trauma at the Prime Minister’s Office, the Shin Bet and elite units in the IDF.
Over the years, thousands of military and security services personnel have been treated by him.
Scientific Advisory Board
Within the framework of the development of the method, and in light of the need of the hour, the Protective Partnership established a scientific advisory committee of renowned leading experts in the field of trauma and post-trauma, who took part in the planning and thought processes surrounding the development of the model and its therapeutic logic. Committee members: Dr. Ronny Simons, Prof. Eyal Fruchter, Dr. Udi Oren and Dr. Yoram Ben Yehuda.

for use at home, with the aim of stimulating
and properly activating the brain’s
natural ability to heal.
Long-term personal connection.
We emphasize maintaining long-term personal connections with the participants
Including in the months following the treatment day, should there be those who need follow-up treatment and legal support
to get recognition from the Ministry of Defense.
