Testimonials
We'd like to share some moving testimonies of some of the reservists and members of the security forces who have already been at the villa and experienced this significant process
״The Villa helped me
find my pulse again."
The Villa helped me find my pulse again. To feel, normally. It helped me get unstuck from my perspective and look at my thoughts and feelings without the “noise”. That day at The Villa made me feel in control of what I went through in Gaza, without the memories controlling me. This is the greatest gift I could give myself. To accept what had happened, take responsibility, and understand that no one else could do the work for me. And thank God, thanks to all the help we got at The Villa, I felt that I have mobilized new tools. This is definitely one of the best decisions we made together as a team.

"I was amazed that one day at The Villa could transform the incident we experienced
as a team. It just works."
When I got out of Gaza, I found myself crying in the middle of the day without understanding why, waking up at night, moving around like I was made of lead.
At first, I was skeptical, you think, “It’s only one day, what can one day do…”, especially after we had such a traumatic experience… But at the end of the day, you see that it really does help, it works.
Most of the symptoms have disappeared, some remain, but not often and not intense.
It’s a life-changer for people and helps them go on living after the trauma. I can’t even begin to emphasize how important this is.

"Today, I can look back at what happened in Gaza
and I’m not afraid"
I’ve lost 14 friends since October 7.
I heard about The Villa from my commanding officer. I came because I didn’t want to develop PTSD. The method they use there is very special. It’s something I never knew about before. Very slowly, I surrendered to the process, and I felt stronger. They also gave us tools to practice at home. And it works. Thanks to the day at The Villa, my recollection of what happened has faded, like it’s somewhere at the back of an old photo album.

״I came to The Villa because I was scared of developing PTSD. I left here empowered."
Since October 7, I’ve lost a lot of friends. I’ve seen terrible things. At first, I repressed everything, I cried, I realized I needed help.
I was skeptical. One day of treatment, how can that help?
But I stayed neutral. And I was really surprised.
Today, I can talk about the things that happened, see the images in my mind, but without feeling like I’m suffocating, without crying. That’s all quieted down.
This day at The Villa is a must for everyone getting out of Gaza or who went through Black Saturday. And personally, I talk about this organization everywhere. It’s really important that people know about this place, because it delivers results.

״The memories and images from Gaza aren’t so threatening any more. They’ve faded, they’re not as vivid."
The day I spent at The Villa helped me understand what I was going through and that it’s normal and okay.
I can finally get through my day without feeling that I’m reliving the traumatic event.
Everyone who gets out of Gaza must go to The Villa.

״At last, I can sleep through the night. I feel a huge sense of relief."
I came to The Villa on a friend’s recommendation.
I connected to the method and the team right away.
The techniques we were taught did the job.
Now, when I look back at what happened in Gaza, it’s like watching from the sidelines without all that scary emotional baggage. It’s like a distant memory.
This is something I would like to pass on.

״That day at The Villa was like magic. I can look at the events
and stay strong, without them controlling me."
Now I can look at the incident in Gaza without feeling all those awful negative emotions.
It works.
I’d be happy if everyone who experienced the fighting in Gaza and October 7 could go to The Villa. I’m going to recommend it to everyone in my regiment.

״It’s very empowering. I recommend going to The Villa to anyone who has doubts about it."
That day at The Villa opened me up, released all the unease, the heaviness and the fears.
When I got to The Villa, I was skeptical and closed. Now I feel lighter. I let the professional team guide me.
I felt there was someone to lean on.
